Life does not follow a straight path: as a moon was once lopsided, a life can spiral out of natural orbits. This song follows the story of 3 homeless siblings, who were once at peace with their predicament, as they had each other to lean on. When the youngest brother dies, the two older siblings lose control of their emotional groundings. The oldest brother turns to street violence, and the sister turns to narcotic comforts. Whether they come together again, is to the listener's interpretation.
lyrics
Once upon a time ago,
There were three musketeers, a golden trio,
but fate intervened, and stole their pot of gold.
They held the streets, in the palms of their hands,
in the blink of an eye they were down a man –
A brother, a friend, a wise young man,
Worth more than gold, or wealthy lands.
Lopsided Moon,
you know too well what we’ve been through.
The spiral of our orbit,
has been compromised.
Now we wait, wait to fall,
or collide.
Never from grace, but fall they did.
Surviving through rage, the storm grows louder.
Yearning to grasp anything to distract
from a merciless day, that’s not worth facing.
The pain in grows, it festers here -
Inside my heart it is burning.
The only simple way I can survive is to numb the pain...
It feels like flying, I’m flying (flying)
Lopsided Moon,
you know too well what we’ve been through.
The spiral of our orbit,
has been compromised.
Now we wait, wait to fall,
or collide.
To drop the match
won’t seize the flame -
for what’s a thousand smiles
in the face of forceful pain? (pain)
(Oh)
I know that you’re free from this misery,
but heaven bring my brother back to me.
I care not for your grand worldly schemes.
Heaven bring my brother back, back to me!
And I’ve forgotten how to breathe
(I've lost so much of you, of who I am, and used to be)
One more hit, then I’ll be free
(I know the lies and cries inside of me)
Memories live along these streets
(You haunt the corners of my mind, their selfish tendencies)
Feeding souls that long to feast!
(Ah)
Blood of the enemy
(Ah)
No one can hear me scream!
Life divided, stones and fear don’t make good company.
Can you hear me? Brother can you hear my calling out?
I’m lost brother (Oh)
Lopsided Moon
You know too well what we’ve been through.
The spiral of our orbit,
has been compromised.
Now we wait, wait to fall...
Lopsided Moon
You know too well what we’ve been through.
The spiral of our orbit,
has been compromised.
Now we wait, wait to fall,
or collide.

It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue

Nice, extremely catchy symphonic metal album with very good rhythm-work, beautiful singing and well-thought-out orchestral and choir pieces to accompany it. Definitely worth to give a listen. tobiwest
